 JKPM condemns excessive use of police force in Anantnag during the night of Shab-e-Qadar : 

In a press statement JKPM State Executive Member & Supreme Court Advocate Syed Iqbal Tahir has condemned the use of excessive force on the night of Shab-e-Qadar in Anantnag as a result of which teargas shells landed in Jama Masjid Hanfia, Jamia Masjid Hanfia Reshi Bazar, Jamia Masjid Ahle-e-Hadees  and other important mosques in the main areas of Anantnag town. He termed this incident unfortunate.  He urged the administration to show maximum restraint during the last days of the holy month of Ramadhan. 

He also personally visited Jama Masjid Hanfia Anantnag and Ziyarat Reshi Sahab whereby he offered fateh to his acquaintances & prayed for peace, justice and dignity of Kashmiris.
