Free Legal Aid Clinic established at Upper Kud

UDHAMPUR, MAY 30: A Free Legal Aid Clinic was today inaugurated at Panchayat Ghar, Upper Kud, Udhampur by Principal and Sessions Judge and Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur Sanjay Parihar.

On the occasion, Sub – Judge and Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur,. Sandeep Kaur, District Mobile Magistrate Ist Class Ajay Kumar, Chairperson Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Chenani Sumati Sharma were also present.

In his inaugural address, Chairman DLSA  stressed upon the need of spreading awareness among masses about various schemes and benefits available through free legal aid clinics. He expressed hope that needy people will come forward and avail access to justice that too free of cost via Free Legal Aid Clinics.

Retainer Lawyers spread awareness among the people about the rights of senior citizens and transgenders. besides J&K Public Service Guarantee Act.

Tehsildar Chenani, SHO Kud, SHO, Sarpanches , Panches and other dignitaries  attended the event.
