Dr Tasaduk extended his wishes on National Doctors Day

Jammu and Kashmir's prominent educationist, doctor and columnist has paid his tributes and wishes to doctors community across the country on National Doctors Day.

"I express my gratitude and acknowledge the dedication and commitment of the doctors' towards our society. The celebration of the Doctors' Day is an attempt to reflect on the role of doctors in our lives and to offer them our respects by commemorating one of their greatest representatives", Dr Tasaduk said on talking to Kashmir Pen.

He said that India has shown remarkable improvements in the medical field and July 1 pays a perfect tribute to all the doctors who have made relentless efforts towards achieving this goal irrespective of the odds.

"I personally being a doctor by profession would say that patients are the most important visitors to us. We are literally dependent on them and I believe it is a mutual benefit between a doctor and a patient. A doctor gets an opportunity to serve humanity and earn his livelihood by amusing his patients. Likewise a patient gets an opportunity to get himself treated and stay healthy and happy on visiting a doctor" Dr Tasaduk added.

Citing towards recent spate of Violence against doctors Dr Itoo said , " I believe for any relationship to hold bond of strength, mutual understanding and trust for each other is very important. Whenever there happens any misunderstanding or distrust, disputes and conflict arises. Likewise is the doctor-patient relationship. Rising disputes ,conflicts and violent acts are the result of distortion of this relationship."

We need to repose trust on our doctors to strengthen this relationship and to avoid any kind of conflict  ." Dr Itoo added.
