Bandipora,July 21.The one-day training and awareness programme on rescue eviction and First aid was organised by SDRF unit Bandipora and Bandipora police at DPL Bandipora.

The training session was attended by jawans & officers of police, Home guard & SDRF.

During the programme cops and volunteers were made aware about disaster management and various types of rescue operations. The participants were given training in rescue eviction , first aid, emergency medical service, cardiopulmonary resuscitation & in dealing with other kinds of emergencies.

The participants emphasised satisfaction over the training session as J&K police is often involved in dealing with various types of rescue operations and emergency medical First aid.
