JKPM LEADER WELCOME GOVT INITIATIVE TO TIE UP TCS,AMAZON,FLIPKART FOR MARKETTING KASHMIR HANDICRAFTS.

JKPM Leader and Supreme Court Advocate Syed Iqbal Tahir strongly welcome the initiative by administration to tie up with TCS,Amazon,Flipkart for marketing kashmir handicrafts.

Recently met various people from Anantnag and other South Kashmir districts who are involved in crewel chain stitch work. Just few days back I spoke to a Kashmiri e-commerce firm to explore how they can help removing the "middleman" in this trade and learnt from them that innovation in designs is very critical for the survival of this trade. We will be approaching the government to take special care of South Kashmir artisans.
