Dr Tasaduk 'hail the verdict' given in Kathua Rape and Murder case

JKs renowned educationist and columnist, Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, hails the verdict given by a local court regarding the Kathua Rape & Murder case of a 8 years old.

He said that the verdict given in Rasana Rape case has created history and build faith in judiciary's position and accountability. "The unison work of the concerned judges, police officers and some honest political leaders have proved and emulate hope and trust in the democratic institutions of the country." He added.

He said the Judiciary's graded Punishment and conviction for accused as per their crime involvement in the case onusly following the law - has build hope in Judicial position of the country.

Kathua Rape and murder case, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, gained national attention both for the gruesome nature of the crime and the response it elicited from local members of India’s ruling party, some of whom protested the charges against the accused.

"Kathua Rape and murder case got heavily politicized creating an environment of religious hate and disturbing harmony. Those who backed pro-rape rally's in this case should introspect their position of conciousness as humans and ask for forgiveness from God and people" .He added

He said that this is a at least a brave step towards prevailing justice for a rape victim. We must acknowledge and appreciate the verdict.
