DC Ramban reviews functioning of Revenue department

RAMBAN, MAY 15:– Deputy Commissioner Showkat Aijaz Bhat today reviewed the functioning of Revenue department here at a meeting.

The meeting was attended by ADC, Dr. Basharat Hussain,  ACR,  Harbans Lal Sharma, SDM,  Gool, Gyasoo-Ud- Din SDM, Ramsoo, Dilmir Chowdhary,   Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars.

The DC directed the ACR and SDMs to ensure functioning of all Niabats at designated places and station the  Patwaris   at their Patwar Halqas for the convenience of general public.  

He directed the Tehsildars to frame an action plan for removing the encroachments on Forest, State  and Kachrai land in their respective areas in time bound manner.  

The DC reviewed the progress of writing of Jamabandi, attestation of mutations and harvest inspection of Girdawaries Rabi-2019. He asked the concerned to expedite the process   and ensure regular updation of land record  under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

SDMs and Tehsildars were   directed to conduct frequent tours of their respective jurisdictions to ensure availability of essential commodities and basic facilities for common public.
